The team is owned by Leonine Global Sports, a company owned by Ali Naqvi and Amna Naqvi. The team’s home ground is the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi, but they also play some of their matches at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Islamabad United has a strong squad that features some of the top cricketers from Pakistan and around the world. Some of the notable players on the team include Faheem Ashraf, Luke Ronchi, and Shadab Khan.
