The Lanka Premier League 2023 will consist of five teams, each participating in a round-robin format during the group stage. These teams are the Colombo Strikers, Dambulla Aura, Galle Titans, Jaffna Kings, and B-Love Kandy.
Following the group stage, the top four teams will progress to the playoffs. The finalists, emerging from the qualifiers, will contend for the Lanka Premier League 2023 trophy.
The tournament’s 24 matches will be hosted at two venues: the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo and the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele.
The LPL 2023’s live cricket action will kick off with a match between the Jaffna Kings and the Colombo Strikers on July 30.
