Muhammad Rizwan reaches Chittagong in helicopter for BPL 2023

Rizwan, who was busy on domestic duty amid the three-match ODI series against New Zealand until Friday, arrived here today to play his first match of the 2023 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) for the Victorians.

The right-handed batsman enjoyed a successful series with the bat, racking up 182 runs in three matches and holding his own as the leading scorer.

His brilliance failed to propel Pakistan to seal the series, however, as Glenn Phillips’ spirited 66-run strike led New Zealand to an historic ODI series victory.

According to the details, shortly after the conclusion of the home ODI series, Rizwan immediately departed for the airport from the stadium and caught a flight to the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka.

The wicketkeeper batsman was set to represent the Victorians in the ongoing edition of the BPL and the team made a last-ditch effort to get back to winning ways after two successive defeats by boarding him in a helicopter.

According to Bangladeshi media, Rizwan’s flight landed in Dhaka at 10:20 AM. m. (BST) and then boarded a helicopter that landed at the women’s sports complex next to the Zahur Ahmed Chowhdury Stadium in Chattogram at 12:45 p.m. m. (BST).
