Pak vs Eng: When will fans see Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan in action?

Cricket fans have been missing Pakistan’s star players, all-rounder Shadab Khan and pacemaker Naseem Shah, on the pitch as the two were rested for the first leg of their seven-game home T20 series against England.

Shadab was given full rest while Naseem was part of the opening match against the visitors in Karachi.

The first leg of four matches was played at the National Stadium in Karachi. It concluded on Sunday (September 25), with each side earning two wins to level the series thus far.

According to sources, Shadab and Naseem will return to action in the second leg, starting on September 28. The duo will be part of the starting eleven for the remaining games of the series. The sixth and seventh games will be played on September 30 and October 2.

The three matches of the second leg have been sold out days before its start.

All done and dusted

Preparations are in the final stages at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium to host the remaining matches.

Paint work and preparation of the main fields and practice fields have been completed on site, while cleanup is underway. Two fields have been prepared for the three T20Is.

Both the Pakistan and England teams flew to Lahore on Monday, where they will take part in practice sessions scheduled for 7:00 p.m. m. this afternoon (Tuesday).
