Will Young was born in New Plymouth, New Zealand, on November 22, 1992. He attended New Plymouth Boys’ High School, where Cricket and Rugby played. He was a promising rugby player, but decided to concentrate on the Cricket after being selected for the New Zealand U19 Cricket team in 2011.
