He got 2 for 9 in 3 overs against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Final, which helped Mumbai defend 139 runs and win the title. The Royal Challengers paid his base price of 10 lakh to get him at the 2014 IPL player auction. Against Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2014, he won the Man of the Match award.
